Founded in 1957 it is part of the Georgia-based Beasley family group of wood product manufacturing facilities. Thompson Hardwoods, Inc. is one of the top 5 largest hardwood sawmills in the United States. Our standard product line include kiln dried southern hardwood, cypress and yellow pine lumber, railroad crossties, crane mat timbers, pallet lumber, pallet cants, heat treated pallet cants, various landscape mulches, sawdust for pellet plants and pulp mill wood chips for domestic and export use. Thompson Hardwoods, Inc. is Forest Stewardship Council and Sustainable Forestry Initiative Certified. We employ over 190 local team members located in a church based rural community that offers many outdoor activities.
