The Resonance Project is a youth initiated, volunteer run, collective of youth brought together under a common heart for active service and community. Our collective has almost 300 members from 38 different secondary and tertiary schools across Singapore. Started in early 2021 by a group of like-minded students, the collective has grown to become a community and connection point for students to serve and grow through the medium of music. Our volunteers engage in direct service through over 60 sessions each month at 13 partner centres across Singapore. We believe in the importance of a long term commitment with our partners to create a long lasting impact. We focus on programmes spanning at least a year, where our members can make a substantial personal impact, developing strong connections with our beneficiaries. Over the span of a year, we have been honoured to work alongside our partner organisations in our mission of service and community through the medium of music. These organisations include Methodist Welfare Services, The Children's Society, FaithActs, Bethel Community Services, Children's Wishing Well, and New Life Community Services. With these partners we have developed music engagement programmes for two age groups—primary school aged beneficiaries and seniors. Priority is given to beneficiaries that would not have the means to access music due to financial limitations.
