We help more than 10,000 domestic animals and wildlife each year through rescue, adoptions, foster care, behavior and training, humane education, pet assistance for people in need, lost-and-found pet services, low-cost clinics, and more.We're also responsible for 24/7 animal protection and rescue in Marin County, California.This means we are responsible for upholding county and municipal animal services ordinances through a decades-long contract with the County. Our Animal Services Officers stop abuse and neglect, reunite lost pets with their worried families, and rescue injured wildlife. A 2008 grand jury report praised Marin Humane's dual role as animal services and nonprofit animal shelter.
