Partners in Learning, Inc. was established in 1989 in partnership with the Syracuse City School District and various community collaborators.Together, we support adults, children and families of diverse cultures and languages in their efforts to learn, earn and live well.We offer education and employment preparation services designed to enhance literacy and language skills, promote intergenerational learning and build cross-cultural connections.We have 28 years of experience assisting parents, children and families in enhancing their skills to be productive workers, entrepreneurs, consumers, engaged citizens, and good neighbors.MANOS Dual Language Early Childhood & Intergenerational LearningMANOS provides a dual-language early childhood learning environment for birth through 5-year old children and their parents at our centers, in the community and in homes. Parents and teachers prepare children for success in school and in life. (English and Spanish) Vocational Employment Skills for English Learners (VESEL) – Employment PreparationDiverse ethno-linguistic adults improve their English language and computer skills, train for employment, and link with their new community. Volunteers in ActionCommunity volunteers and service-learning students provide participants with opportunities for language learning and cross-cultural sharing. Cross-Cultural ConnectionsTraining for the public and private sector.
