The Learning Center! Charter School is a K-8th tuition-free public charter school. Located in North Carolina, we are a "NC School of Distinction" and met AYP in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.Our Mission:The Learning Center! provides a safe and challenging academic environment for students that encourages independent thinking, good nutrition, healthy living, environmental responsibility, community involvement and personal excellence in order to produce a community of learners who are prepared to succeed in an ever-changing global society.Part of the growing national movement to provide choice and opportunity in education, charter schools are empowered to create and implement instructional methods that best suit the needs of each student that promotes innovation, higher expectations and real results.
