The DC Bocce League is a fun, recreational sports league based in the Washington, DC-metro area. Founded in 2004, DC Bocce has grown exponentially since its inception, swelling to around 5,000 registered players in 2010. During the spring and summer seasons, games are played outdoors in neighborhood parks. During the fall and winter season, games are played indoors on specially constructed courts. Following games, members enjoy happy hour specials at their sponsor bars. The official beer sponsor of DC Bocce is the Italian lager, Peroni, which comes discounted exclusively for League members. DC Bocce is also committed to bettering the the world around us through charitable acts and contributions. Since its founding in 2004, DC Bocce has donated over $37,000.
