Thomas N. Dikel, Ph.D. is a sole proprietor Developmental Psychopathology practice. I was trained in both developmental and clinical psychology with clinical focus of pediatric neuropsychology and research focus trauma and PTSD. I have worked in 10 circuits throughout Florida with national and international (Canada) experience. Forensic specialties are primarily child abuse and neglect, sex offense and human trafficking, trauma, and PTSD. I thoroughly enjoy working with attorneys, including pre-trial consultation and courtroom testimony. My clinical practice includes individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults, and play therapy with young children. I am a Give an Hour (GAH) provider, offering one hour of therapeutic/counseling services per week to veterans or active-duty military and their families, at no charge to the client. Therapeutic services are paid by the client - Unfortunately, I cannot afford to work with insurance companies. I am also available for research, primarily as a member of a multidisciplinary team. My publications in peer-review journals include Neuropsychology, Child Neurology, Trauma, PTSD, Child Development/Developmental Psychology, Developmental Education, Psychiatry, Veterans Issues, and Non-epileptic Seizures.
