This software is being used by over 12,000 consulting firms, universities and government agencies in over 120 countries.Aquaveo also sets up training courses to teach users of all levels how to better use the software. The lab was reorganized and the name was changed in September, 1998 to the Environmental Modeling Research Laboratory (EMRL). In April, 2007, the main software development team at EMRL entered private enterprise as Aquaveo, LLC. Sales. Over the next couple of years Environmental Modeling Systems, Inc.
