Provide direct supervision of the Communications Office's staff. Serve as a liaison to the Governor's Press Office. Highlights include: co-authoring and designing the Department's annual report; handling over 100 media requests; designing an employee news webpage; developing the "DJJDP News Blast", an internal news bulletin; creating the "Did U Know" web features filled with interesting facts about the Department; initiating the Department's employee recognition program titled "Champions for Youth,"; and organizing the first statewide new employee orientation.
