Torfaen County Borough Council is a unitary authority based in south east Wales. Every day of the year, Torfaen delivers hundreds of services to the borough's 91,000 residents from maintaining roads and empyting bins to supporting carers and educating young people. In May 2011 the council launched Corporate Plan 2 - a strategy that will guide its direction of travel for the next five years. The plan focuses on providing support for our most vulnerable citizens and communities.
