The Mobile County Health Department is here to provide a healthy, safe, prepared and educated community. Our mission is to promote, improve and protect the overall health of Mobile County. We hope to accomplish this by enhancing revenue, strengthening organizational employment cycles, improving data management systems, increasing department effectiveness, boosting marketing and community image, as well as influencing health policies. As your Medical Home we offer you a care team dedicated to your health. Your team may include your provider (doctor, nurse practitioner, dentist, etc.), nurse, nutritionist, counselor and case manager.
