Carve Architecture is a young and experienced practice with offices in Newcastle and York. Architecture is our core discipline but this is closely supported by specialisms in low energy design and building research. We believe in designing individual buildings that work, that are enjoyable, 'people centred'​, respectful, firmly embedded within their context and positively contribute to their local environment.At Carve Architecture we work on a range of exciting projects including domestic extensions, new build homes, flat conversions and masterplanning of larger housing schemes. We can deliver a full architectural service, from initial feasibility sketches through planning applications, and up to detail design, on-site inspections and contract administration.In 2014, Carve Architecture was winner of a York Design Award in the category of 'Restoration, Reuse & Extension- Including Refurbishment'​ for our project at Darnborough Street.
