Camp Dark Waters serves its community of campers and staff by running recreational activities that are fun and serve to nurture the spiritual, intellectual, physical, and emotional life of young Friends and others. Based on the Quaker testimonies of Peace, Education, Simplicity, Stewardship, Equality, and Integrity, our diverse community builds new friendships in a "family" atmosphere. We live and play together and learn to appreciate one another in our outdoor camp setting. When our residential camp isn't in session our property serves as a conference center. We provide a friendly, rustic setting in which schools, churches, families, clubs, scouts, social and civic groups can gather together in fellowship for workshops, retreats, reunions, youth gatherings, picnics and celebrations. Camp Dark Waters and its facilities are ACA approved. We accommodate conferences, retreats and outdoor education in the fall and spring pre and post-camp seasons.
