NATURE is a youth organisation recognised and supported by the Government of Flanders [Belgium]. Throughout an experiential and adventure based approach within a non-formal educational context, the organisation aims to actively contribute to the personal and social development of youngsters and young adults between 10 and 30 years old. The organisation has developed a special affinity with socially disadvantaged youth and youngsters with mental and/or physical disabilities. In 2012, NATURE started with adventure therapy programmes for youngsters. On the other hand, the organisation aims to promote and disseminate technical and educational practices in the field of outdoor activities and experiential learning. In order to reach this objective, NATURE organises trainings for youth-workers, educators, teachers and so on. Since 2008, NATURE is actively involved in a post-academic programme, "Adventure Education", now at the HUBrussels highschool. NATURE offers experiential programmes for teams and organisations, focussing on themes like team development and personal growth, leadership or organisational change.
