Assistant Short-Term Program Manager at Princeton Educational Services - Princeton, New Jersey, United States
Princeton Educational Services ("PEDUS") is an international education agency. Our primary focus is on helping international students identify and apply to appropriate high schools in the United States, then supporting them during their time there by organizing homestay arrangements, providing academic support and college counseling, and offering cultural activities to help assimilate into their local communities. In addition to our high school service, we also put on various international summer camps and offer specialized TOEFL, SAT, and SSAT training. At this time, we are also developing two new programs that will expand the scope of our involvement with cross-cultural education. We are working to develop bridge programs between schools in China and schools/districts in the U.S. that will enable Chinese students to begin high school in China via classes developed and administered by PEDUS before transferring to American high schools to complete their studies and earn diplomas from those U.S. schools. Similarly, we will soon begin sourcing qualified, Native-English speaking teachers for the growing crop of International Schools in China. We are a small company with a well-defined, focused leadership and knowledgeable, specialized staff. In our five years of existence, we have expanded at a steady and measured pace to work with schools as far spread as California, Texas, and North Carolina, as well as a dense collection closer to home in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York. We currently represent more than one hundred students placed at nearly thirty schools.
