Danish Diabetes Academy (DDA) was established in September 2012 with a 5-year grant from the Novo Nordisk Foundation and co-funded by Danish universities and university hospitals. The vision of DDA is to enhance the quality of Danish Diabetes research education in order to ensure that it remains at the highest international level. The mission of DDA is to educate and train the next generation of researchers in the field of diabetes. The overall objectives of DDA are to strengthen the research training available to PhD students and Post Docs, to serve as a national hub within diabetes, unifying academia, hospitals, and life-science industry in Denmark, and to recruit outstanding national and international PhD students, Post Docs and Visiting Professors, within the field of diabetes.The main language is English, but Danish entries may occur. Comments are welcome both in English and Danish.
