About five years ago, Marathon Messiah's Praise, the World's longest non-stop annual gospel musical event began at the Redemption Camp, an emerging City along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway Nigeria. It is an event that is organized with two objectives: as a birthday gift to appreciate God for His mercies and faithfulness over the life of Pastor E.A. Adeboye, The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God; and as a gospel musical event that will birth a new pattern of worship in this dispensation. Since inception in 2012, five successful editions have so far been held from 70 Hours Marathon Messiah's Praise to 71 Hours, 72 Hours, 73 Hours and 74 Hours. Today, Marathon Messiah's Praise has become an annual event that is growing in leaps and bounds. It expanded to other nations outside Nigeria in 2016 as 74 hours Marathon Messiah's Praise (themed PRAISE BEYOND BORDERS) was held across three countries on two different continents to become a global event.
