Freelance Video Editor and Photographer at The Motus Projects - Cranbrook, England, United Kingdom
The Motus Projects creates sport specific streetwear for parkour athletes. We strongly believe that when united, our community can reach achievements beyond parkour. Therefor our mission is to support the community's growth through funding community projects, events and up and coming athletes. Founded by Giles Campbell Longley, a leading and prolific cinematographer in the parkour world. Giles has had a hand in producing some of the worlds most critically acclaimed parkour videos and has been supporting the community's growth for a number of years through the production of various, documentaries, series and feature films. The Motus Projects as a brand was born from reflections on the communities initial gatherings and jams; which severely lacked funding and organisation but had an immense collective spirit. The aim of the brand was to bring funding through the sale of functional, sport-specific streetwear to the organisations that needed it. The Motus Projects is more than a brand that manufactures parkour clothing; it is a collection of projects based on movement, ran by a community of movers. Since it's inception, The Motus Projects has sponsored not only some of the best up and coming UK athletes, but some of the best athletes in the world, period. Motus has given its roster of athletes opportunities to travel all over the world, as well as attend every event under the sun, from the US to China. During which it's clothing sales and public acclaim have helped back community projects such as, film festivals, UK and US tours as well as publicly hosted jams and charity fundraisers. Your purchases collectively support your favourite events, athletes and videos, across the world, not just within the brand. By supporting The Motus Projects you're generating funding for the community, by the community.
