Established in August of 2017, Horizons Project is a collegiate live streaming program and branch of Infuse Student Media at Southwest Baptist University. Our mission is "to maintain a bold, humble and welcoming community, that creates unique and innovative content." We seek to welcome students to a new medium, live streaming, by training them, giving them the opportunity to work with high quality software and equipment, and allowing them to work together to grow a diverse audience and community on various platforms. Southwest Baptist University is partnered with Twitch through the "Twitch Student" program, and owns a partnered Twitch channel that Horizons Project streams to. A variety of content is uploaded to the channel, including gaming, educational tutorials, coding, and all matches for the SBU Varsity Esports Program, and several events at SBU.
