We are an all-volunteer, faith-based non-profit organization, dedicated to helping the homeless and needy men, women and children of Tucson, AZ. Our vision is to establish an emergency shelter facility to house and restore men, women and children (families in-tact) with on-site services.On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays we serve hot meals (primarily prepared off-site) and provide a variety of personal hygiene items and food (bags), limited to items on hand. We also have Bible studies, prayer and spiritual materials as well as direction to services. Additionally, desiring to fill a gap in available services, we fund and help with obtaining Sun Tran bus ID's.We have seen a continual increase in guests, now serving an average of 40 people each time we open. The population we serve (those who show up) is primarily chronically homeless adults—male--with the largest ethnic group being Hispanic. We also are visited by a large number of adults in the surrounding neighborhoods.
