Compassion for Farm Animals is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that seeks to raise public awareness about the treatment of animals on factory farms, draw a clear link between the demand for animal products and the existence of factory farms, and suggest humane options to animal products produced by the factory farm industry.We believe that if consumers recognized that farm animals have the same feelings and emotions as their companion animals — and if they knew of the conditions under which most farm animals "live" on these industrial facilities — many would listen to their conscience and act accordingly.To achieve our objectives, Compassion for Farm Animals will place ads in various digital media. The ads are designed to drive traffic to our website where the facts about factory farms — also known as CAFOs — are presented in a straight-forward manner.We also will distribute informational literature and work to engage grade- and high school students in humane education. Compassion for Farm Animals, Inc. is a 100% volunteer organization. No one associated with Compassion for Farm Animals receives any financial compensation.
