Starting January 01, 2019, new legislation implemented under the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act, 2016 (RRCEA) transferred the legal obligations for tire recycling management to Tire Producers, paving the way for a Producer led model, in the province of Ontario. eTracks Tire Management Systems is a not-for-profit Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) that will work with leading tire manufacturers and an extensive network of service providers to create a sustainable tire management system in the province of Ontario. Incorporated by the Tire and Rubber Association of Canada (TRAC), eTracks is the largest PRO who will help our customers responsibly manage and recycle EOL tires and help them meet their legislative obligations under the RRCEA.Registered with Ontario's Resource Productivity Recovery Authority (RPRA), eTracks will deliver reliable and prudent compliance services to all companies obligated to manage end-of-life tires (ELTs) under the Ontario Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act (RRCEA).Our priority is to ensure that our customers' obligations under the RRCEA are fulfilled, conveniently and responsibly, drawing on decades of experience in the tire stewardship and global producer responsibility and recycling industries.Our breadth and depth of knowledge of product stewardship legislation and supply chain management in Canada is unsurpassed. In fact, some of our partners and advisors pioneered responsible ELT management in Canada nearly three decades ago, and have been involved in ELT tire management ever since. We are also drawing on decades of experience in the broader producer responsibility and recycling industry in Canada and beyond.
