Derek Boshard developed the iconic Freedom Walker to help his own daughter who was diagnosed with a Chromosome duplication syndrome that affects her physical and mental development.The adaptive equipment is built in our engineering workshop in Roodepoort, South Africa, from Class 16 PVC pipe and fittings, making it lightweight and durable. Our advanced machinery allows us to make each product with precision.We have designed other products to help kids with special needs, such as the Freedom Crawler, Bath Chair, Standing Frame and the Freedom Runner. Kids with cerebral palsy, and many other diagnoses benefit immensely from these devices, helping to improve their quality of life.
