The Milwaukee Dog Training Club, located at 4375 N. Humboldt Blvd. (behind the location of the old Wisconsin Humane Society) was founded in 1929. In 2005 we opened our new, indoor location at 333 N. 25th St. Today we lay claim to being the oldest dog training club in the Midwest. We offer classes in obedience, agility, flyball, tracking and are involved in many other fun events & activities. MDTC is a not-for-profit organization with a group of experienced and knowledgeable dog enthusiasts serving as instructors. We are licensed by the American Kennel Club (AKC), and our training program is based on the AKC trial rules and regulations. This type of program not only permits you to enter American Kennel Club competitions (if you so desire), but also develops a well-mannered dog for everyday urban living. MDTC prides itself in promoting responsible dog ownership and care by offering the Milwaukee community low-cost, much needed dog obedience classes. Membership is open to adults 16 and over, accepting both purebred and mixed breed dogs.
