Russell Roofing Ltd was established in Northampton in 1962 by a local master roofer, Dick Russell. During the early years the business focused primarily on the private sector and rapidly developed a reputation for high quality workmanship. This led to opportunities with local builders and Russell Roofing Ltd expanded the workforce to cater for this growing demand. In 1987 Russell Roofing Ltd moved into new premises in Moore Street, Northampton, where they remained until 2001 when, following the untimely death of Dick, the company moved to purpose built premises in Kings Heath, Northampton where they remained until the Keystone Group acquired the business in December 2003.The Keystone Group is a privately owned roofing business with both a merchant and a contracting division, and operates out of offices in Northampton and Luton. In March 2004 Keystone continued to expand their operation further when Chraire Roofing, a local roofing contractor was absorbed into the Group. Then in January 2005 an agreement was reached with S D Samuels (Mid Beds) Limited to take over their pitched roofing operation.Today, Russell Roofing Ltd is one of the largest roofing contractors in Northamptonshire and is considered by many in the construction industry to set the benchmark for quality, service and professionalism.Russell Roofing Ltd places great emphasis on Health & Safety and all staff are fully trained or are in the process of qualifying to industry standards, and are CSCS and NVQ accredited.
