We seek to limit downside risk by stress-testing the companies we consider for investment and diversifying across industries, geographies and currencies. We also assess quality and economic conditions that may magnify investment risk. We pay little attention to market indices. Consequently, we regularly experience periods when our strategy performance differs widely from market indices. Over time, we believe our process results in superior returns. The research team, located in the US and India, is comprised of individuals with deep investment and analytical backgrounds, multiple language skills, and brings both developed and emerging market perspectives.
