For 23 years Circus Solarus has been exploring the Theatre of Celebration - creating performances for festivals that surprise and delight. Now based in Parramatta we have been a part of many major events in this city for the past few years as well as performing throughout Sydney and overseas in Singapore, Bahrain and the UK.Well known for our striking costumes, we also create festival decorations, parade costumes, large puppets and work with communities to tell their stories through large outdoor festival performances. parades and community development projects.Our community education work has been a feature of 2011 with Safety Awareness campaigns for the City of Sydney along the Bike/Pedestrian Shared Paths throughout the CBD, we have also appeared at many environmental fairs from Randwick to Plumpton to promote composting, saving water, recycling and re-using with our range of environmental characters and at the launch of the Healthy Holroyd Project with our King and Queen of Fruit and Vegetables.
