MKI provides technical support and sales of equipment for the electric power grid in construction projects involving generating, transmitting, protecting, and automating energy delivery. We interact with engineering design/consulting firms, building contractors, and project owners by providing component specification assistance for electrical power equipment ranging from 480V switchgear up to 765kV substations. Companies we represent focus on substation, transmission, and distribution construction. We represent several well respected manufacturing companies in the industry, providing support for the equipment they supply to our customers. Customers within our territory of California, Nevada, Hawaii and Guam frequently include electric utility companies, power generation plants (nuclear, coal, natural gas, hydro, solar, wind, geothermal), water/wastewater processing plants, industrial facilities, universities, hospitals, government facilities, oil/gas/petrochemical facilities, distributors, engineering consulting firms, and more. To insure we meet the expectations of our principals and customers, MKI maintains a team of highly experienced and educated experts drawn from the industries we serve.
