Who are Peer Empowerment Support Services?Hi! I'm Polly and I run Peer Empowerment Support Services. I am a Mum of 2, a dedicated disability support worker, and have my own lived experience of disability.I have faced many challenges in my life but refuse to stop trying – I never want to look back and feel that I haven't given things a go.I believe in a world where options are equal and people with disabilities can have access to everything they need or want to give themselves freedom. I want to see housing and employment options for everyone, and I believe that you should be the difference you want the world to see.I am a country girl now but have called many places home throughout my life. I love to travel, especially to anywhere I can sit by the ocean or float in the waves. The three things in my life I couldn't do without are my kids, my car and my coffee.All I have ever dreamed of was the chance to work and live my life on my terms. I have been forced by circumstances to get creative and think outside of the box, and these are the skills that will make me the biggest help to my clients.My favourite animal is the butterfly and you will see them scattered through my website. The butterfly began life as something different, but adapted as it needed to and grew into something amazing – this is a very similar story to anyone who successfully lives their life despite their limitations.This is what I want to give to you – the chance to grow, adapt and, of course, to fly!
