Part of the strategy is to remove psychological barriers such as fear of failure- and many other beliefs and emotions that may hinder the overall performance of an entrepreneur. The founder and director of the Global Village Yvette Ratshikhopha is a Business Management Graduate, and a Certified Master Life Coach and NLP Practitioner. "As a life coach, I would have clients that would come for coaching because they have a brilliant idea and do not have the confidence or feel they have the resources to start their business. I would also sometimes have business owners seeking enterprise development services who would then request my life coaching services for themselves or their team. I then realised that the two are intertwined and decided to merge my enterprise development agency with my life coaching in order to develop not just businesses but the people who run them as well."This helps them stay focused allowing them to manage their mental state as their organisation develops. It equips them with negotiation strategies, presentation skills, conflict resolution, communication skills, practical solution orientated strategies and most importantly it gives them a safe place to offload and not be the boss but to be human and consciously work towards developing themselves which directly benefits their business performance and profit.
