ACN-groep was founded in 1965. At that time the company has its residence in Hoogeveen, but after several relocations it settled down in Neede (Netherlands). ACN-groep started as a service organization, repairing and restoring cigarette and automat vending machines. Several years after its founding, ACN started to import new cigarette vending machines and in 1976 they became the official importer of Wurlitzer in the Netherlands. At that time the company also began selling the first Wurlitzer glass-front vending machine. In 1998 Eric Seijger and in 2000 Edwin Seijger acquire both fifty percent of the shares. The following years the brothers head for expansion of their company and widening of their market to be less dependent on only vending machines. Coffee machines were added to ACNO's portfolio in 2006. In spite of the fact coffee machines are a rather different business than vending machines. ACNO has managed to create a solid position in this new branch. In June 2007 ACNO introduced their own vending machine to the Dutch market, branded ACN. Over the last few years ACN has proven to deliver reliable vending machines at an affordable price. Innovation and new developments are on going.Since 2011 ACNO is the official representative of N&W for the Netherlands, importing their brands Necta, Wittenborg and SGL.Nowadays ACNO has over 25 employees and has its service area covering the Netherlands, Belgium and the eastern part of Germany.
