Our transit system continues to see explosive growth in ridership and is quickly converting its fleet of busses to bio-diesel hybrids. Living on the Red River Fargo is situated along the Red River which borders the state of Minnesota. The river provides a scenic view and miles of recreational areas including parks, fishing, walking/biking paths and camping. We are working to live harmoniously with the river by building landscaped dikes and flood walls. Fargo and Moorhead are currently proposing a diversion that would help protect the metro and surrounding communities.
