RISE for Autism, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, strives for excellence to carry out our mission to provide community and professional awareness, family support and resources, financial assistance, and a lifetime continuum of therapeutic services to promote confident, competent Autistic individuals. Started in 2011, RISE for Autism was founded in response to the founder's own son's diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. As her son progressed through ABA services, she saw a service gap for older children, teens and young adults that community was not serving.RISE for Autism focuses on older children, adolescents, and young adults who are often underserved among local communities and seeks to provide these populations with the next step of ABA treatment. RISE for Autism offers center based, home based and community-based interventions which provide much needed flexibility in service delivery. This flexibility is important when clinicians create individualized programming that is adapted to the needs of each learner. RISE for Autism strives to create a place where local families have access to quality ABA services throughout their child's life span as well as providing an avenue for individuals who are excited to expand their clinical and professional repertoires. RISE also provides Non-profit services to the community as part of outreach and advocacy such as, biweekly Teen Night, Trunk or Treat, and other Sensory Friendly Events
