Hale is a private, non-profit education organization widely recognized for our flagship programs: Hale Day Camp, Hale Adventure Camp, Hale Mountain Biking Camp, Family & Community Programs, School & Professional Programs, Hale Outdoor Learning Adventures, Intrepid Academy at Hale, and the Perrone-Sizer Institute at Hale. We serve more than 15,000 children and families from 70 Greater Boston communities each year and invite visitors to enjoy our woodlands, meadows, and ponds. Our programs and land management practices are the legacy of our founder, Robert Sever Hale, who permitted use of his land "so long as it is charitable and benevolent in nature… to provide education which will develop intelligent, capable, and responsible citizens."
