Over 5 billion people in this world are deprived of safe and affordable surgical care and many treatable conditions become diseases. Surgical care patients face many issue like delay in seeking care, delay in reaching care and delay in receiving care. As a result, easily treatable conditions become diseases with high mortality rate.We face the same situation in India as well. To save life and prevent disability additional 40 million surgical procedures are required annually in India.
