In 2013, the Ford Foundation also named Crisis Action as one of 7 NGOs to reshape the global human rights movement. Crisis Action has previously worked on Myanmar in 2007, on the military crackdown on peaceful protests, and in 2009, on the continued detention of Aung San Suu Kyi.
