To increase awareness and enthusiasm about Hyperloop, SpaceX sponsors the Hyperloop Pod Competition, an incentive prize competition where a number of student and non-student teams are participating to design and build a subscale prototype transport vehicle to demonstrate technical feasibility of various aspects of the Hyperloop concept. This year's contest focuses on one key aspect - speed.The fastest pod wins! Simple.Avishkar HYPERLOOP is a student team of IIT Madras.We are a dynamic team of 60 engineers, designers and business leaders who have come together to demonstrate technical feasibility and viability in this concept and are spearheading the country's attempt at SpaceX Hyperloop Pod competition 2019. We work together in IIT Madras's student lab – Centre for Innovation (CFI) - with the common goal of making the best Hyperloop pod and helping humanity move one-step closer to achieving an incredible new mode of transport.We have propelled as one among the 47 teams selected globally for the final design round of the Competition.Our preliminary design has been accepted and we have successfully cleared the first stage of the competition! We hope to keep moving forward and achieve success in contributing to this new form of transport!
