The School of Broadcasting & Communication (SBC) is a part of the ‘Society for Arts & Mass Communication', a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) registered under ‘Registrar of Firms and Societies Act, 1973', of the government of the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is Asia's only journalism university and recognised by UGC, ACU, AIU and approved by government.The institution was incorporated with a vision of bringing world class, state-of-the-art broadcasting and media education and technology to the Indian sub-continent. More broadly, the mission is to establish itself as a premier educational institute, which is focused on imparting relevant courses specific to the various media verticals and creating professionals who are comparable to the best talent present anywhere in the world. SBC seeks to provide the Indian media broadcast and journalism industry with trained and skilled personnel who are equipped with the latest technology and skill-sets and are empowered to meet the dynamic challenges in the global landscape.
