The "Enrico Mattei" Technical Institute State Industrial of Urbino is unique for its specificity in the Province of Pesaro and Urbino, always attentive to the human and professional development of its students. Its ability to respond to the needs of cultural and professional training of families, of its students and to act as a qualified and effective service to offer to the territory, determines its aims. The five-year course includes a first two-year training and orientation course and a second two-year and fifth year of training and vocational training. The specializations are organized according to the following denomination: chemistry, materials and bio-technologies; electronics and electrical engineering; IT and Telecommunications; mechanics, mechatronics and energy. The ITIS "Enrico Mattei" of Urbino intends to act as an active subject that contributes to the socio-cultural and economic development of the provincial territory by offering young people the opportunity to achieve a human, cultural and professional education suitable to make them protagonists in the society of the XXI century . The Institute's training proposal is based on a quality policy. The activities are in fact the result of a precise commitment of all the components of the Institute and of a continuous process of enhancement of professionalism and human resources; organized in a complex management system; kept under control with monitoring actions. In summary, the aims of the Institute and the need to base the educational / didactic action on the principles of the quality of the Educational Offer are to stimulate the involvement of all school components in the educational dialogue; imprinting educational processes on quality with a reinforcement of didactic innovation; implement effective strategies to reduce early school leaving; to foster the development of integration processes in an increasingly multicultural context; be attentive to the dynamics and needs of the territory.
