Eni Turkmenistan Limited former of Burren Resources Petroleum Limited. During the Italian Prime Minister’s trip to Turkmenistan a package of agreements in the oil and gas sector has been signed. They include an agreement concerning the joint action of "Eni-Turkmenistan Limited" and the State Concern "Turkmennebit" in oil field Nebitdag (operator is Eni). This agreement provides for the assignment of the share in the agreement of production sharing, as well as accepts amendments to existing PSA agreement for this site. These documents prolong the operating time of the Italian company in Nebitdag field by additional 10 years. Nebitdag oilfield in Turkmenistan is situated on the territory of the Balkan region in the western region of the country, south of the city Balkanabad.
