The Vascular Access Certification Corporation (VACC) is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to the validation, through certification, of a specialized body of knowledge for all professionals working in the field of vascular access. Join the 3,000+ certified professionals that have successfully earned their VA-BC credential marking board certification in the specialty of Vascular Access. The certification through VACC will be multidisciplinary in scope to include the broad range of health care professionals and clinicians actively engaged in the practice of vascular access. Candidates for certification will include (but not be limited to): • Registered Nurses • Advanced Practice Nurses • Physicians, • Physician Assistants, • Radiology Professionals, • Cardiovascular Professionals • Respiratory Care Professionals, • Licensed Practical (or Vocational) Nurses, • Other Clinicians actively engaged in the practice of vascular access Candidates may take the exam in a Prometrics testing center in either the United States of America or Canada. International applicants outside of the United States or Canada are encouraged to take the examination if qualified, but must be advised that the exam itself and all references used to develop it are US based and reflective of US clinical practice.
