National Service Scheme unit of Daulat Ram College is a volunteer based community of around 700 students from various disciplines. The community is continuously working on diverse range of social and environmental issues for the welfare of the society. We aim to establish a link between the students and community so that they contribute towards making the lives of the under-privileged better. The unit is also working for Mental Awareness under its "Campaign Parwaah- Rethinking Mental Illnesses". It has also undertaken a hunger alleviation initiative, "Project Itminaan- Bread for Every Breath", wherein strays and birds are fed. Moreover, the unit conducts various sessions, awareness campaigns and drives to promote and bring a change in the perception of students about social service.
