Welcome to Rao's Degree College, which is conveniently located in the heart of Yemmiganur, Kurnool Dist, AP. Our aim is to deliver quality educational programs, services and to provide students with meaningful learning experiences. As such we are committed to ensuring our teaching and learning methods are innovative, challenging and engaging. Rao's degree College offers a wide variety of courses. Our teaching methodology is designed and delivered to equip our students with the knowledge and skills to apply their learning to new situations, to work cooperatively and to sustain lifelong learning. "Education is the soul of any society. It is through education that we shape the young minds of our society and in turn transform any country." We had a dream of developing Kurnool district into one of the finest educational hubs of the state. Kurnool, a gateway to Rayalaseema, saw the establishment of Rao's degree college on 29 August, 2012 under the aegis of Sree Guru Raghavendra Educational Development society. In a district where the livelihood a majority of population rests on farming and labour, the institution is an effort to transform the lives of people by helping them to be capable and open the world of opportunities for them. Our correspondent, Mr. Sreekanth Vadla has a strong belief in the power of education inspired by Nelson Mandela who said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world" The institution is run with a motive to empower the people in and around Kurnool district by promoting graduate education. Our President and Executive Committee member Mr. Venkata Sirideep and Mr. Sirigiri Vijay Kumar envisions the institution to be a movement, a center where the best of the minds come to help and liberate the destitute, disabled and backwards. The institution respects humanity irrespective of creed, caste and colour and this thought is the embodiment of the society.
