It also provides ancillary services in support of other ambulance services throughout Central California. SEMSA also operates MedExpress, a wheelchair transport service in Reno, NevadaSEMSA also operates the International Center for Prehospital and Disaster Medicine which provides a wide array of educational offerings for EMS agencies including tactical EMS. It is also a designated regional training center for the National Disaster Life Support series of classes. SEMSA is under contract with the State of Nevada to develop a bridge program for military medics to achieve civilian credentialing as paramedics or EMT's.SEMSA offers a wide array of consulting services to the EMS community on virtually any topic EMS may need.
