With 280 State Parks across the state, they provide access for everyone to enjoy natural beauty and diversity of our state's mountains, rivers, coastlines, forests and deserts. Parks California is based on a new model for public, private and nonprofit partnership. Our approach is focused on building mutually supportive relationships among partners at many levels, bringing much needed resources to amplify the work of the park agencies and support organizations.
