Helping people since 1917, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago is one of the largest private, non-profit social service agencies in the Midwest. Our 3,000+ staff are well trained and dedicated to our mission. Catholic Charities also partners with more than 243 parishes in Cook and Lake counties to bring services into communities. We are also aided in our mission by more than 15,000 volunteers. We strive to be efficient: 92 of every dollar we raise goes directly to our programs.
