Since 1939, Tri-County Electric Co-op has provided safe and reliable energy to our member-owners across North Texas. With 9,294 miles of energized line and over 120,00 active meters, we are one of the largest electric co-ops in Texas.Electric cooperatives were created to serve rural areas that were too isolated for major power companies to service. Today, our service area covers 16 counties in North Texas. With offices in Aledo, Azle, Granbury, Keller, Munday and Seymour, Tri-County Electric Co-op is available to serve our members to the best of our ability.
