The USC College Advising Corps is an education initiative of USC Rossier's Center for Enrollment Research, Policy and Practice. The Corps places recent college graduates in high schools to serve as full-time College Advisers. Our mission is to improve college outcomes for low-income, first- generation, and underrepresented students. Advisers work within high need schools supporting students by encouraging and assisting them with their college searches, college applications, financial aid, and transition to post-secondary education.Students who met with a USC CAC adviser are:14% more likely to visit a college19% more likely to apply for financial aid (FAFSA)27% more likely to apply to college20% more likely to be accepted to college27% more likely to submit a deposit for college enrollment
