Debonair initial thought begun as a physical store in London and styled itself as a dedicated store for men's accessories of all types. However, when it came to what we would stock, we rather did not want to have to work with big established brands everyone knew. Our personal journey in fashion – though modest, made us understand that value and context was infinitely more important than quantity and story-less mass production. For this reason, we wanted to work with small to medium sized ambitious and inspired manufacturers to source and potentially even create ethically produced men's accessories. One of our main priorities with Debonair is that we want to give our customers a product with story, history and value. A product that is unique in its construction and superior in its quality and where in some instances, the customer could even site the name of the person who made it for them. To do this, we needed to redefine the sources of where there products were coming from.Debonair is based in London; a thriving metropolis with a world leading fashion industry sporting some of the most skilled product designers and individual artisans in the industry. We realised that there was a real opportunity here to help these small enterprises get on the international stage . With fashion these days following global defined trends, we wanted to open ourselves completely to give these people complete creative freedoms and the power to reach the masses. Debonair taps into the power of hand-made, and the potential is limitless. Each leatherworker, watch developer and shredder has the potential to come up with products completely unique to the market and the customers. Debonair is built to promote brands and their stories just as much as the products. We've built the platform in a way that reflects this in a clear and elegant way to potential customers.
