India is the nation of storytellers or kathakars. The Indian culture has not only showcased different forms of storytelling, but also inspired hundreds of storytellers. Down the ages, these stories have taken different forms through a variety of art forms.Sutradhar is an initiative to bring back this culture of storytelling. Each one of us has a story to tell. With Sutradhar, we intend to get people together people, share different stories unique experiences on the common ground of art. We conduct various activities, rights from free talk shows, to showcase unique seasoned and upcoming talents, to conceptual art performances for social awareness. Our Core Team, Madhura APhale, Toshal Gandhi, Natasha Poonawalla and Vallarie Apte are trained Kathak dancers and students Kathak guru Maneesha Sathe.
